After nearly two decades as an international wine buyer with focus on large-volume wine tenders for the governmental alcohol monopolies in my home country Sweden and also in Norway I arrived in Mallorca 2018. With the proximity to the rest of Europe, having access to both the sea and the mountains in addition to the island being a melting pot of different nationalities and having a high quality of life made the choice to settle here easy.
In my early 20´s I backpacked through Southeast Asia for a year followed by living two years in Sydney, Australia. It broadened my cultural perspective and enhanced my language skills. I got a global outlook which has been valuable in the international wine trade, in the real estate market and over all, in all new contacts, private and business.
Having done the WSET-Wine and Spirit Education Trust certifications (Levels 1, 2, and 3) in London in addition to a strong foundation in business economy and marketing from IHM Business School in Stockholm has undoubtedly contributed to my ability in navigating complex business contexts and decision-making processes.
2019 I transitioned to the real estate sector in Mallorca, initially working with a franchise before establishing my own brand, W Mallorca Invest with an office with prime location next to, the for expats well known Palma Sport & Tennis Club.
A 30-year career in senior positions in the hospitality, wine and property industries has provided experience in business development, marketing, leadership, purchasing, sales, and service. Comprehensive skills that are highly valuable in the dynamic real estate market of Mallorca, where adaptability and innovation are keys to success.
I´m a focused realist with an ability to see both opportunities and challenges as well as having an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
A genuine interest in people, business and networking and a lifestyle where intense work aligns with an outdoor living with hikes, long walks along the ever-present sea and dinners in the sun set gives that I have never regretted the decision to move from my cold home country to this beautiful island with more than 300 sunny days per year.
To live in Mallorca is living in a baby blue dream bubble away from all the problems in the world and I´m here to help you settle in too!
Kind regards,
